It's that time of year again, and members of Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association are participating in local food drives throughout the town. One, which will take place this weekend, at Stop and Shop on Jordan Lane, and will be conducted in cooperation with Wethersfield Police Department, Wethersfield Fire Department, and Aetna Ambulance Service. Many non-perishable food items will be donated and stuffed into emergency vehicles. The non-perishable food items will then be taken to local food banks. 

Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association also host's Foodshare's 'A Turkey and a Thirty' food drive. Many members of WVAA will come in on their day off to help unload turkey's and other non-perishable food items from people's cars. 


The event will last two days, on Saturday, November 17th and Sunday, November 18th. Please stop by to help those who are hungry all year round but especially for Thanksgiving
