Members of Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association (WVAA) have been serving the Town of Wethersfield for over 60 years, providing emergency medical services to town residents and visitors. WVAA remains active in the community by providing medical coverage at Wethersfield High School football games and many other community events that take place throughout the year.

Dedicated Service

We are always excited to welcome new members into our wonderful organization. We ask for just a few hours from our volunteers each week, and they choose the times they work based on their availability. We even accept non- residents of Wethersfield as members!

In the Community

Members of Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association collaborated with members of Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department, Wethersfield Police Department, Aetna Paramedic Services, and Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home to create a realistic scenario of what the consequences are with distracted driving. This drill occurred at the Wethersfield High School in front of the entire student body during prom week.

WVAA participates in the local food drive with police, and fire at the Stop and Shop on the Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield. We also participate as a drop off place for the Food Share's Turkey and a $30 drive. These will be taking place for the next two weekends. Last year the president of Food Share visited our building and we collected over 300 turkeys throughout the entire drive.

During the month of November!!
