Mission

Since 1956, the mission of the Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association has been to provide high quality, pre-hospital emergency medical services to the residents of the Town of Wethersfield, CT.

Who We Are

Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association (WVAA) is an independent, non-profit service composed of certified Emergency Medical Responders, Technicians, and Paramedics who provide EMS services to the Town of Wethersfield. These services include response and transport for 911 calls, mutual aid for surrounding towns, and community standby events.

WVAA members come from all walks of life and include students, lawyers, administrators, engineers, teachers, nurses and career EMS professionals. WVAA has proudly been serving the Town of Wethersfield for 64 years.
